If anyone is familar with palm'n stein could you please help me out. I just started logging two days ago and have a few questions. I would like to know how to view my entire log as a list, like everyone here is posting instead of frame by frame. Also I have what seems like really high fuel trims, ex. 150-180. thats l,m,h, and o2. I don't see any knock but at high rpms, my timing is about 15-18. My o2 at wot stays around .91. Does anyone have any suggestions or opinions on how this sounds. As soon as i figure out how to view my entire log ill post it.

Thanks,
Rob

tunerstein is different in a few important ways, most importantly it doesnt give you the actual knock sum but the degree of timing pull, so while monitoring knock if it says 5 , that means your ecu pulled timing 5 degress, so for example instead of 20, now down to 15 degrees which is a lot of timing pull and a lot of knock, the real knock count is about 3 times more than what the knock amount actually tells you, so if it reads 5 thats actually 15 which is alot of knock, 10 is really 30 counts of knock and life/engine/threatening. i had tunerstein and never knew that, i blew up my engine to what i thought was only 10 counts of knock but was actually really 30 counts. be carefull with that, also the way they read fuel trims is retarded too, instead of wanting the fuel trims to read around 100 percent, well with tunerstein 160 is 100 percent, so tune to 160 i believe it is.

Do away with Tunerstien/Palm-n-Crap as btrux06 is implying. Install MMCD and you'll see the big difference as I did. So far, MMCD has been pretty accurate with both my fuel trims and knock/timing readings...not always pretty...but accurate. When I had PnS, it said i was at 0 counts but timing was low...turn over to MMCD and it shows the same timing, but with 13 counts of knock...big difference.

ya pretty much tunerstein sucks, it helped me to blow 2 motors causs i wasnt aware of the retarded knock counts not showing up

Thanks guys,

I just started to log five days ago and thought my car was screwed up. My afc setting were all at zero and my fuel trims were all around 160. I would have to correct about 12+ at 1000 rpm to get my O2 trim 100.
I also have mmcd. I have'nt even tried it yet. I'll have to get used to it now.If anybody has any info on it that would be great.
