2g MAS

okay ive looked everywhere and i cant find it still. [sorry if this has been posted before, the search function isnt working on my computer]

What are the differences between the 1g and 2g mas's??? and why is it a good idea to change my mas [1g] for a 2g one? one of my buddys told me to switch but he didnt give an explaination. Is it easier for tuning?

i think it flows more than that 1g stock one. we'll have to get some 1g guys in here to elaborate. but IMO, if your upgrading to another mas, just get a GM MAF with translator. the GM MAF's are basically straight through, no restrictive honeycombs, no need for hacking, etc. just my .02

The have a larger flow area, and thus will flow more air with less restriction. They also have the capability to meter more air than a 1g MAF ever will be able to.

Note that you cannot use one without a SAFC, or some other fuel control device, because the calibration is different than a 1g MAF.

At this point, I too suggest the MAFT.
