car sputters at wot

I have a big16g ,550's, walboro 255, when I steady on the gas it will pull pretty hard till 6500 but if I mash it the car will hesitate and sputter from 4800 up until I let off.I have no FPR could that be the problem?no logger either just trying to get the car to pull to redline without sputtering.

You're running TOO RICH! Lean it out. If you don't have an adjustable FPR, lean it out through your fuel management piggyback (if you have one).

I was just going to say that.

I had a track day ruined due to that very same thing. I put in 625's and it ran a wopping 15.3 and before them and a few other good mods(well ported maf, 3" test pipe, turbo outlet compressor, walbro255) I ran a 13.8. It was horrible. I tuned it on the way home, and boy was it ever rich

is .97 still rich enough to make it sputter ?

Yea, mine was .98 and it was ugly, fugly.

At .94 it is still a bit rich of course but it pulls hard without sputtering.
