Anyone have a procedure or any quick tips on how to check timing on a 2G. If I remember correctly isn't their a plug that needs to be grounded?

You can hook up a timing light to see what it is but you can't move the sensors to change it.
But wire in a 1g cas and eliminated the 2g cam and crank sensors and you can.

My Guess is that its correct since you havn't messed with replacing the Cams's. With zero advance, you should be getting around 16 degrees of total timing I believe.
