I am running a 2g 1998 GS-T. I have going to be buying a Big 16g Turbo. I know i need to upgrade the Fuel System so this is what i had in Mind

550c Injectors
Buschur Racing Pump
And a S-AFC Apexi

Does that sound about right? O Will Stock wiring be okay with that fuel Pump? Also do i dont need a A/F/R do i? doesnt the AFC take the place of it? and one last thing....I dont need to upgrade my fuel rail or anything right? Thanks

Do 660s on a 2G. AFC is good, but DSMLink is better. What is the Buschur pump rated at? You might also look into getting a 1G fuel rail and a Spoolinup AFPR. May as well do it all right the first time. That system will be great with a B16G and many larger turbos as well.

I would look at the 650cc injectors also. They leave a lots more room to grow.

The question that I ask youis this..

"Is a Big 16G going to be the last turbo you are going to put on that car??" If so you could get away with the 550cc. If not jsut get the 650-660cc now. Even if the Big 16G is the last turbo you are going to get you still should think about the 660cc's They will allow you to hide more airflow from the ECU and trick it into giving more timing.

Ya i planned on the Big16 to be the last but..shoot you never know. I guess i will look into the 660's. This is going to be primary a street car and every once in a while go to the strip, and show off. Thats why i was debating with the 550c to save a little gas. This is also why i didnt think i needed to upgrade me fuel rail or anything. Tell me what ya think.

The Buschur Pump is rated at 165 liter a hour at 43PSI

I have 650cc Ball/disc injectors and get great gas mileage. I also have a spoolinup on a 1G rail which will help gas mileage greatly because the stock FPR gets overrun by big pumps.

Later,

but i mean..what is better for more then a street car then a strip car? I just wanna run everyonce in a while. So is a Spooler and Fuel rail needed? Or will i get by with the injectors, pump, and S-AFC?

And with the AFC, doesnt that take the place of a A/F pessure regualtor?

The AFC is just a piggyback system that manipulates the signal from the MAF meter to trick the car into see more or less air, there by changing the amount of fuel being dumped.

ahh okay i get that part...So do i need a new Fuel Presure Regulator now or will the stock one be okay?

i dont see how that Buschur pump is going to do the trick.. it only flows at 165?? thats low as hell.. id recommend a larger pump like a 3kGT pump which flows at 190 for the Big16g which you dont require a FPR at that point in time..

aww okay thanks man i think that what i will do.

3kGT pump
550c Injectors
S-AFC

sounds great.. one thing to keep in mind is if you intend on ever upgrading frm a 16G to something larger you may want to go with 650s now instead of later.. it wont hurt you now and it will save u later.. just a thought..
