I just got back from the shootout, and i had my car dyno'ed there.

Needless to say i was sick when i saw the results.....

Heres my mods.... i need to know whats wrong with my car, why it isnt making a correct cure, and second of all, WHY ITS ONLY 222 HP!!!

I running 19 psi, tuned the SAFC 2 to .96 a WOT. and timing was at 14 degress.

Well, 14 degrees of timing is KILLING you for one thing. I believe stock is 16 (tells me your knocking). I don't like to go by O2 voltages, but .96 seems abit rich. Did you datalog the run? I don't see that you have upgraded your injectors either on a side note. You should think about going to some 550's if you plan on running 19psi.
 
That is definately your main problem. You have no timing advance, because you have knock, because you have no fuel. That is, unless this was on race gas. Either way, the airflow signal being reported to the ECU is also probably way high, and you need to bring it down.

Turn the boost down to about 15 psi until you get some real injectors (550's at the least, I would suggest 660's) and retune.

i may be wrong. but if your timing advance is below stock, does that mean you dont got enough fuel? or could it be to much fuel? or what ?
if you can explain it to me ?

Timing advance is based on a lot of things, so it cannot be brought down to a level that simple.

Also, there is no such thing as "stock" timing advance, because the amount of advance that a car sees will always vary.

Timing depends on the lot of inputs, but when discussing WOT performance, there are 2 in particular that are important:

knock: When the ECU senses a certain amount of knock, it will retard the ignition timing. More knock means more timing retard. Knock can be caused by a mltitude of things, but running lean is one of them.

airflow: The lower the airflow signal reported to the ECU, the more timing.

thanks for in info. just recently i was told that if timing falls below stock advance 'range' give or take you most likely are knocking or not tuned right. but thanks for the info
 
My T 25 made more power than that..(@22psi ;)

I'm still on stock injectors and a rewired pump. I feel significant gains in power (not yet dynoed) with a FP ported Big 28.

My car is a freak, I have no idea how i'm running PIG rich (1.04) 19-21 deg adv @ 840C EGT's w/ 25-28 lbs/min flow @ 7000RPM with my set up but it is. Maybe the rewire was all my stock injectors needed to keep up at the set boost of 16 psi. Or maybe the previous owner put some wierd injector in. I'm going 550/190lph for peace of mind and getting to the dyno ASAP

Simple, you have a stock turbo that was put on the car for stock boost levels. It's funny when guys try to push it and then complain when they arn't getting the numbers that they want. You can't simply turn up th boost on the T-25. It's a crapy small turbo, it needs to be thrown out and you need at least a 14b period.

Some guys have freak motors that will let them turn it up for a "while". Trust me, keep blowing hot air in your motor and catch a bad spot of gas and you'll be looking to replace your motor very soon. That's the way it works. You can't get passed it, you need a bigger turbo, period.

true: which is why I ran a SUpra IC/w/my T25 then went to a FP BIg 28 and ditched the 25. I can say emphaticaly that the Ported Big 28 I got from FP is performing a hell of alot better than the one Klamath put on his car. I'm going to the dyno 07/24 so I'll be back to post #'s Expecting 275 +
 
Well the turbo i got is a FP Ported... It pulls harder then the T25 did. I dont know if its the intercooler or maybe a bad knock sensor, anyone know how to tell if a knock sensor is bad?

Don't know how to diagnose that..

If your still on a stock IC that is most likley the root of your problem, even with a Big 28 your going to heat soak that thing pretty quick. get a supra SMIC! you will be pleased.....WIth no other upgrades I picked up 27WHP from 183(stock SMIC) to 210 on my T25 set up when I installed the Supra SMIC.
