Has anybody ever successfully done it? i am trying to get palmnstein or MMCD running, both require v3.5 or higher, and i have been unsuccessful in upgrading my palm III (not e, just reg. palm III) to v 3.5. i have it at v3.3, and the 3.5.0 update will NOT work... any advice? :)

Bro - you need to update your palm III to OS 4. The III can't be upgraded to the 3.5. They come with 3.3 then the only upgrade is 4.0. I succesfully installed 4.0 but still can't get it to connect to the ecu. I think it's just that the III's are weak and do not have enough power from the AAA's to succesfully compute.

yeah i found that out just after posting :) thanks though... i got 4.1 from kazaa, and installed MMCD and Palm'n'stein... going to get cable from multiplex soon and test it

cool - that's exactly the same set up I tried, if you get it connected let me know, then I know the cable is bad and it's not the palm.
