As the questiong stated, how do I adjust a 39mm internal wastegate from AGP? Please help as I can only boosted 12 psi. I emailed AGP and Kevin says that that will centainly be the wastegate and to call them. They're closed on Monday so I'll call Kevin tomorrow.

That is what a boost controller does, it adjusts the wastegate.

How high do you have your boost set?

Check for vacuum leaks, or maybe the spring on the internal gate is just realllly weak.

Actually, not what he said, because we are talking about an internal.

Is the internal adjustable (is there a threaded part of the rod) or is it the standard type? If it is the standard type, then you need a boost controller, which got its name from what it does.:D

It's APG 39mm adjustable internal wastegate with part of the rod threaded. And yes I have a turboxs HMBC and tried my cousin's Joe P boost controller as well and still can only boosted up to 12 psi.

You have to take the pin out from the wastegate arm and then I believe lengthen the arm...I will put a post on here to be sure.
Install your lower heat shield.

This is directly from MachV Website, thanks for the picture and info...this should help you!

You will need to remove the wastegate arm from the swing assembly to do this. Simply pull the pin out, pull the arm off, install the heat shield and replace the arm. The adjustable wastegate rods are set for our best guess at what would be 15psi will be on most cars. If you want or need to run less than that, turn the rod OUT one or two full rotations. Inadvertently, if you need to run less than 15psi, you had better get to modding. Ideally, you should be modded enough, or plan to be very soon, to run at least 17-18psi minimum on pump gas on whatever Level you got.

Isn't that a nice turbo...It's what I got in my car...a nice 60 trim! :thumb:

No biggie, it happens.:D

If you want to turn the boost UP, then you need to make the rod SHORTER.

However, if a MBC is not changing the boost level, something is wrong.
