Hey, does anyone have the install manual for the Greddy AF gauge? I have no idea how to install this thing.

I have tried to install it, but I dont know where the extra red and black wires go. Someone told me that I could tap the stock O2 gauge, could someone help me with that also? Thanks
Tuan

The black and red wires which come from the O2 sensor harness are heat wires. Connect black wire to ground and red wire to 12V ignition not from 12V battery (if you use the provided O2 sensor). But the red wire that comes from the control box, will be connected to 12V battery.

If you don't want to make another bung for 2nd O2 sensor, you can use the Greddy sensor and connect the green wire (if i remember correctly) to stock O2 sensor signal wire (I think it's black wire).

Cool, thanks for the Help. The Gauge is now working. But the red and green lights keep flashing at me.

Yes, they will keep blinking for a while. They have 4 stages of warming up. First 2 stages, both LEDs blink and the needle will point to exact numbers (can't remember those 2 numbers). Stage 3, the needle will point at the actual A/F (LEDs are still blinking). And stage 4, no LED is blinking and needle points at actual A/F.

You need to burn in the sensor too, and also intial setup to tell the gauge that where is the location of O2 sensor (such as in O2 housing (very hot), downpipe (colder)). I will find the manual so that I can scan some pages and post here.

That would be awesome if you could. I drove to work, with it flashing the whole time. The needle sweeps the gauge fully, so there is no place I can set the warning.

It pegs at 8 when I hit full throttle, and goes to 16 when I let of the gas. during idle and cruising, it swings from 9->14.7

Check my gallery. There are 2 pages of manual in my gallery. And please save those files in you computer, because I will delete them soon. :D

How did you connect the O2 sensor? Did you use the Greddy O2 sensor and hook the green wire to stock O2 sensor harness (and get rid of stock O2) or you use both O2 sensors?

Hey thanks for the pages.

I am using the stock O2. I searched 3si and found that some guy just tapped into the ECU, so I want to do that too. I just want to monitor conditions in my car. I have to get the car dyno tuned, since I am too afraid to adjust my fuel settings. When I learn more, I can use this aAF gauge and my EGT to tune myself.

Hey, I noticed in your profile, you have the big Greddy IC. Well, if you have a 2.25 inch pipe coming from the turbo, you should buy RRE's Lower replacment pipe. I installed my lower pipe and the 1G throttle body, my car boosts 700 RPMS faster. Unfortunately, these mods, have thron my fuel out of whack, so when I get my FPR installed, and my MAFT mod, I am back to the dyno

The pipe is a pita to install since its meant for their Griffin core, but the car is sooo much better with it.

If you tap the O2 signal from the ECU, you don't need to buy Greddy gauge (it's so expensive). You can go for Autometer (I know it doesn't have numbers, just LEDs). BTW, they both are not wide-band sensors, not that accurate to fine tune on dyno. I'm planning to get FJO soon :thumb: (that's more expensive), but I'm out of budget now.

I weld a 2nd bung on HRC O2 housing and use both sensors.

Anyways, thanks for the tip for pipings. However, I just installed Greddy IC pipes yesterday  . I wanna try them first, may be I'll change to RRE's later. My car is A/T though  , it won't get much boost.

I bought all three gauges together from a guy who owns a supra. So I got a pretty decent deal. It does not have the O2.
