what PDA is everyone using for Pocket logger and DSM link??

Lots of people use the m105, since it's a nice cheap model.

I'm using a Visor Platinum, and I used to have one of the cheaper Visors. I loved both of them.

I *think* the visor has a bigger screen than the Palm, but I'm not 100% sure about these things. I'm not that genre of geek.

The DSMLink guys recommend the m130, or something cheap, with color, and a Palm. Some of the other brands arent supported, I think due to the way the rs232 is done, I don't know for certain.

I do know that the m505 works for DSMLink, as that is what I use. Color is very important when using DSMLink, so you can see the different traces on the datalogger.

If you own a Palm Tungsten T, the lastest version of the DSMLink Palm app supports high resoultion screens.

So, instead of 160x160 you get 320x320.

Much higher resolution during charting and playback.

the dsm link is only available on 2g cars right. i have a 1g talon. can u change settings with a dsm link or just log?

We dont have DSMlink for our 1g cars yet. I have a HandSpring Visor which I am using for GPS and sometimes my Datalogger, But most of the time I am using my Handspring Treo because its color and with MMCd logging software I get color graphs.

How bad do you want DSMLink in your 1g?

It can be done and there is a thread for it.

i am just getting into dsm's but i think the pocket logger will be good enough. what is the major difference between pocket logger and dsmlink?

dsmlink is a logger and tuner.
