Ok, I'm narrowing down my stalling/bad running car problem.

It's DEFINITELY not:
- an air/boost leak
- a vacuum leak
- the ECU
- a broken fuel injector

Here's the question: my ISC is at 72 steps at idle and goes up to 92 steps when I blip the gas pedal, then back down to 72 steps. Is that right or at least close to it? I honestly can't remember what it was before I was having problems.

On top of the throttle body there is a single wire plug. this is your idle speed switch. if your idle is going up and down all the time unplug the connector. it should level out. if it does you need a new switch.

I thought that was the closed throttle switch. I unplugged the ISC and the car runs now (pretty good actually) so I have a feeling it's the ISC.

it would make sense to call it that but it is called idle speed switch. the isc motor is expensive. I have a used one from my car. I will give it to you for the shipping cost, like $5.00.
