when I accelerate my car is pulling real good until I hit 18PSI then It sputters or gets fuel cut or something. I have a big 16g port/clipped, front mount, walboro 255 and 550's.My mbc is set at 20psi. So basically I have to lean out the fuel correct?I just wanted to know if for example my setting at 5k is -22% would going to say -24% make it richer or leaner? I don't have a logger or egt gauge so I'm just trying to get a rough tune for now and obviously I'm new to the afc. Thanks
First off running 20psi is quite a bit for pump gas; most people say 18psi is ideal. Second, playing with fuel control is a VERY touchy subject; if you do it wrong, you can easily do damage to your engine. So a person should only start changing fuel control once they have the understanding of what's going on, AND they have the proper tools to tune with.
