ok i used a web site and checked with others for it to be right and they corrospond, but my afc wont even turn on,,no nothing,,,what could possibly be wrong, any ideas?????

Are you sure you were looking at the ECU harness the right way when you were locating the correct pins to tap?? Look at the back of the plugs with your left ear facing the drivers side floor Start at the bottom of each plug and they are # top left to top right bottom left to bottom right. On each plug........1g = 3 plugs 2g = 4 plugs

i made sure to use the right pinout pattern and made sure it worked with the description of the wires,,,possible to have a bad afc,,how would it go bad??

It is possible, but not likely. For starters, get a test light and check to make sure that your power lead is getting power and that your ground leads are grounded. And make sure that you have your grounds hooked up properly, AFC's are very picky about proper grounding. It seems that most of the people that have problems with them have installed them backwards looking at the wiring diagrams.....good luck.

How did you connect the wires..? Soldering or just used "yhiefes" to cut in on the wires? You may not have enough contact on the plus or minus cable and then you wont get anything to work....Check the connections again and make sure that the cables connect so that the AFC gets its power....Common mistake...

i checked the continuity on all the pinouts to the pinouts on the afc harnes and all checks with no resistance, anybody know how to just wire so its on, id try but its got two grounds, thanks
