pocket logger wont get connected

i just got all the crap straitened out with teh afc and pocket logger program but not it wont tell me that it is pluged in. i checked and played with the plugs for a few mins and nothing happens. i would like to run the car today so any help would be great.

Mine did the same thing, It turned out to be the plugs just not seated right at the OBDII connector. I just unplugged it, made sure all the pins arent bent and plugged it in and wiggled it a little bit. I Also noticed that it does take a half a minute - a minute for mine to connect after the Palm is turned on. Other then that, try it in another DSM and see if it works. If it does, then its something with your OBDII port. If it doesnt, then it could be the cable or the software, Or both!! Also, Check the Data Rates on the setup of the Logging software. (i assume your using the Digital Tuning software POCKETLogger™) Follow the the instructions on the site ( www.digitaltuning.com ) on how to reset the software data rates to normal and start from there.

one more thing. I also had the same problem, it was because I had "Beam Capture" turned off. You need to keep it on in your Palm preferences.

I had that problem. Turns out I had to bend and break one of the pins on the cable. I don't remember off the top of my head which one, but if you still can't get it to work, PM me and will go out to the car and look.

i'v done all the and it still wotn work but i havemore problems with my tranny so i wont need the pocketlogger untill later.
