MAFT HELP (I'm either stupid or missing an obvious point)
Hi Guys,
I need some help. The car is a 1992 GSX and the relevant mods are MAF Translator, 9" K&N cone filter, TMO Stage III ECU & a Thermal Catback. While logging the car the fuel trims are at 81% for lo, mid & hi. The O2 voltages oscillate at idle, cruise and at WOT I am running a .92 -.94
I have the Base on the MAFT set at -10%, the idle set at -15% and mid & wot at -10%. Finally I got my idle trim to be at 110% but the mid & wot are still at 81% even if I got -15% on both.
I am either stupid or missing an ovious fact ...
With the relevant mods mentioned on the top the car should take more air, making the mix leaner, why is the car running so rich w/o injectors, FPR or upgraded fuel pump? Is it a goofy calibration no the MAF translation or ...
BTW ... I have 0 knock.
I do have the original version 1.0 of the ROM and will be getting the latest v.1.3 next week. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
