New sofware for MAF Translator available!

We have a software upgrade available for the MAF Translator available now. This fixes a problem with the indicator lights and also provides an improved version of the tuning software that will make it easier to tune. Early reports of even better perfromance are coming in. Since this is a fix for the green light we will provide the new chip at no charge to anyone who has a unit. If you have version 1.0 or 1.1 call us at 888 293 7267 or send an e-mail to [email protected] or [email protected] and they will send you an eprom which just plugs in if you do not feel comfortable doing that you may send us you unit at your expense and we will upgrade and return it at our expense.
If you have version 1.2 or above it will need to come back for upgrade to us. The new version is 1.3 so if you already have that don't do anything.

I was just wondering, i ordered a translator about two weeks ago. I still have not recieved a tracking number on it or anything. My question is, will when i receive the MAFT, will it have the new updated software already installed?

I bought an unused translator from a friend. It has 1.2 on it. DO I have to do any kind of registering in order to take advantage of this upgrade?

I doubt it, but mike should answer you here pretty quick. You should join the yahoo group "dsmtranslator" http://groups.yahoo.com/group/dsmtranslator if you haven't already

ok this may sound like a stupid question, but how can you tell what version you have. I have the paperwork from it and it says 1.1 . But on the translator it has the Cfg. number and it says 352G1.3 or maybe 3S2G1.3 or something. Does this number have anything to do with the version?

You have 1.3, go by the number on the chip in the unit
