I had my car dyno tuned on the 17th and I'm sorta dissapointed with the results. The runs were done on Cali 91 octane, 16psi of boost. Mods are as follows:

· Stock T25 Turbo
· Generic Air Filter
· GReddy Profec-B @ 16psi
· GReddy Type-S BOV
· APEXi S-AFC 2
· APEXi' N1 3" Catback
· APEXi' N1 3" Downpipe (No Cat)

I'm making 205.3 HP / 221.0 LB TQ. With these mods should I have gotten more hp/tq? I've read magazines and there are people making near 250HP on the t25 with basically the same mods I have. Should I be making more? Am I missing some mods :)? Tell me what you think, Thanks.

well that 91 octane horse piss is definetly holding some power back,

thats almost scary at 16psi and no fuel controll..theres more to it...

get a dattaloger:thumb:

right on, turn the boost down to stock till you get it..

you would be suprized how good your car can feel while getting 30+counts of knock and 9deg timing...its very scary

not "good" but, if it wasnt your car you couldnt tell...

i have my car set at 11 psi and im working up... ad fuel...ad boost..ad fuel...ad boost...and so on. till it work for your setting...becarefull setting your boost too high off the bat... werd

221 ft-lbs. is nothing to sneeze about with those mods on the T-25, considering that is to the wheels (on 91 octane). get more fuel and a new turbo and you'll be good to go. keep up the good work :thumb:

Your peak seems to be right around 5KRPM. I wouldn't be surprised if you are getting lots of knock and your ECU is retarding timing.

well he has an EGT and datalogger on the way, so that will tell him what's going on. lotsa knock = high EGT temps if i remember correctly... might be the NyQuil talking... God i love NyQuil :|

Get a fuel pump.

With the pump, the logger, and the SAFC2, you should be able to tune at least 20 or more hp into the car.

YA HE HAS A DATTALOGGER ON THE WAY and a egt, but putting it to the floor and seeing if the egt gets hella hot, or hes knocking is not the way to go. start at stock boost and slowly work up.
especially if it "might" already be knocking, more of the same is not good. turn it down till you see the logs

or #### it turn the boost up to 25psi,just to see if it get hot...?

not surprising considering mostly the fact that a t-25 at 16 psi will go straight to 10psi starting at about 5000-5500 and be there by 6k :talon:

I really don't see what the big deal is? T-25's always fall off around 5-6 depending on shape of the turbo, exhaust...etc no biggie there. I think that a fuel pump/logger will help a lot but where are the A/F ratio's at? Did you even hook up the o2? That is what will tell you the most...

I bet that adding a rewired FP will help a lot but still 205 whp at only 16psi really isn't bad. Was it hot, do you have stock ic piping? There are a lot of factors here but it doesnt seem bad. I wouldnt be dissapointed with what you did. Not sure why you have a afc and do not have a FP or injectors yet or anything...bling factor maybe? Anyhow, make a few logs and report back...

Uhm, 205.3 HP / 221.0 LB TQ @ 16psi with only filter, and exhaust is pretty good for the T2small.

Here is my dyno chart from back in the day of my T25.

http://www.newcelica.org/larryd/dyno/02-01-02-dyno_comparison.jpg

The only difference in our mods was I had all hard IC piping. Regardless your #s arent bad. You cant expect much more then 220-230whp out of a T25 without nitrous.

Thanks larryd. The reason I have the S-AFC II is cause I'm ordering injectors/fuel pump + getting my turbo kit REALLY soon ( L2R baby :thumb: ) I guess 205/220ish is good for the t25, I'll live with it til I get my turbo upgrade. Also the car was tuned with a wideband o2 sensor on the dyno.

BTW Larry how many lbs of boost were you running to get 222.6/279.0 OMG Those are the kind of numbers I'd be happy with.
