casco,
i was wondering if anyone could tell me what my o2 reading should be at wide open throttle? they are currently reading 0.8 to 0.9. i am thinking that is to rich but i am not 100% sure. these settings are during my 1/4 mile pass at 32psi base fuel pressure 22psi boost 140 degrees intake temp.
any help would be greatly appreciated.

But you already knew that!

Its fixed now, all you need to do is:

-Put your BOV back into the MAF

-Keep your Walbro Hard-Wired

-Turn the boost at 20 psi and tune untill O2's hit twelve and a heezy-to-one and EGT looks good

-raise boost untill only a small amount of correction is needed and/or turned up, and not so much having to take it out so severly. Then at about 1.8 bar you should be practicing launches that dont break drivtrain parts ;)

i know my friends galant made max power when the 02's were .84-.86..his a/f ratio was 11.8 and he made 307whp..
but every car is different..
granted this is with 720cc's, fmic, and iat under 110 degrees..
good luck

p.s. that was on pump gas, these beasts of cars behave totally different on crack-16.

i myself was researching this topic pretty thoroughly about a month ago. everyone has different methods of tuning. and i was checking them out.

my conclusion (same as original thoughts): different dsm's perform differently at certain 02's. my o2's at wide open throttle are .82-.84 when tuned with the egt @ 1600*F, iat around 135, timing peaks at 24. my friend's car performs best at .86-.90 (not sure about iat or timing). thus, what works for someone else may not work for you. it also depends on type of fuel, mods, etc....
