can i use a palm pilot m105 with dsmlink? or i def need a laptop? i;ve heard of people usin the m105 for datalogging and i've heard of people usin it for dsmlink. is it easy enough to use?

I just did a quick search on the DSMlink yahoo owners group and I see some people using the M105. The problem listed is that the cable doesnt like to stay in the pocketlogger so it loses connection alot. There is another cable you can buy to solve this problem.

Once you purchase DSMlink youll have the ability to join the yahoo owners group and you can read all about it

Yes, you can use the software made by Hal Landry on your M105. I still use the Laptop though, because I like the big screen and interface better.

You can shove the flap-cover on the M105 under the air vents in the middle of the dash. Holds it well.

well the guy from the dsmlink site said that palm isnt that great because it doesnt have color. i need something to control it and i need something i can leave in my car at all times so i can always ee my knock and stuff. and i dont wanna buy a laptop and a palm cuz i dont wanna leave a laptop in my car all the time but i want sumthin that controls it good. whats hal landry? i'm lost to this stuff

IF that palm doesnt have color, get one that does, the palm software for DSMLink supports color. I have an m505, which is color, and it works fine for DSMLink. I think the m130 is another color palm that works fine. Hal Landry is the guy that wrote the dsmlink software for the palm, and is supplying it to people for free.
