my air airflowperrev was at a good value (24 to 26) with my stock cam.Now ever since i install my kelford 272 cams my airflowperrev went to 49 at idle now.

my question is: Is it normal for my airflowperrev to jump up so far with aftermarket cams?

also i read with having aftermarket cams now that my airflowperrev should be adjusted to somewere around 34 to38 at idle now, And that i should not try to get my airflowperrev to be around 24 to 28 because that is for stockish cams. IS THIS TRUE????

Normal to have it inflate like that, I saw the same thing happen with my Kelford 272 cams and so have I noticed the same with everyone else who has put in aftermarket cams. With my Kelfords, my AirFlowPerRev has to be around low to mid .030's gm/rev. Anything lower results in having to make a drastic change which is not normal.
