What are my options for FPR's? The only ones I can find are the
$140 spoolinup, and the $70 command flow.
Is there any others?, if not is the spoolinup worth the extra $70 or so bucks?

the FPR made by SX engineering is the bomb. Dave buschur, sean glazer, john shepard, and everybody uses this thing. extreme sells it on their page under race parts. Only bummer is that you have to cut off the end of your fuel rail and weld on an AN fitting. But in my opinion, its worth the trouble and money to do it anyways.

You don't have to cut it. I tapped mine and JB welded the threads to make sure the seal stays nice.

Also the aeromotive if you don't care about the color of the thing is the same piece but cheaper. Me personally I spent the extra money for the SX cause I like the color and the name. You can get the aeromotive from summit, I bought my SX from Extreme though I believe its cheaper through Buschur.

It bolts right on but the ends are different, the regulator and feed line I believe won't bolt on. Get the ones from the car you take it off of or don't use stock and run new lines to the tank also.

JB weld breaks down in gasoline.

I had a sx regulator, they work. I sold that whole fuel system (12gal cell, 8an lines, sx pump, k&n filter, and sx regulator) because the fuel cell was too much of a PITA.
I have a supra pump and charged air (spoolin up) regulator now.
There is absolutely no reason to spend so much on a sx, aeromotive, or paxton regulator and an fittings.
Why pay twice as much when you can put in something that installs very easily and works just as well?

I have the Spoolinup on my 1G. I would recommend it to anyone not going full RACE. Bolts right on and is reasonably easy to adjust. It allows you to both Raise and Lower your stock fuel pressure. Why lower it? That new super 255LPH HP fuel pump will flow enough to raise your pressure over stock.Rewire it and the problem gets worse. With the Spoolinup, you can correct back down to base pressure.

Yes they will I have a 1g rail and a 1G spoolinup and everything bolted up fine. all you need is the rail and the reg all the fuel lines bolt up fine.

The spoolinup product is a relatively new part. It's only been around for like 6 months or so. All of the people who needed a AFPR before then had no choice but to use the Aeromotive/SX/Paxton style AFPRs.

I bought a Spoolinup. The Command Flo isn't good. SX, Paxton and Aeromotive are okay but require some thinking. Awhile back I bought a billet adaptor for $40 to put one of those regulators on. All I needed was the regulator and a few A/N fittings. I went with the Spoolinup in the end because now I don't have to go buy A/N fittings or think.

i agree with the group, the chargedair AFPR is the best choice. in addition to the reg, i would get the b&m filter mounted gauge kit, and a nice in car fuel pressure gauge. this will help you see exactly how fuel pressure rises in relation to boost and help to identify any fuel delivery problem's

the b&m gauge kit. you will need this in order to mount the sender for the in car gauge if you choose to go the route. you wont need the supplied gauge, just screw the sender in to the brass elbow in place of the gauge.

Go measure the ID of the B&M banjo bolt, it's small than stock. I'd recomend enlarging it if you have a drill press.
You can tap through the top of the stock banjo bolt with a 1/8"npt and screw a gauge, or sender, directly in there. I did it on one car and it's been working fine.
Personally I bought some 4an TFE fittings and line, ran that off the ca regulator, and remote mounted a gauge.
