Oil in Intake Cause Knock?

I read somewhere that oil fumes can cause the octane to decrease and I definitely have some oil in my intake. But how bad does it decrease octane? To the point where it can induce 14-20 counts of knock?

Do you still have the oil breather line off the vavle cover going to the intake pipe? If so, TAKE IT OFF!! , the turbo will suck oil through that oil breather line causeing sticky oil in your innercooler and pipes. Either get a catch can from RRE or just put a breather filter on the vavle cover, make sure you plug the hole in the intake pipe though.

I think I may have that problem too, my evo 3 16g blowing smoke into the intake from shaft play. Would that cause some misfire/knocking issues?
