Gentlemen,
I've been in and out of the states for the last 5 years (in the military) so my DSM project has gotten an upgrade here and there over a long period of time, but not driven very much. As of this August, I will be back in the states for at least a year before coming back to Afghanistan and decided to take the time to push my car a little further and enjoy it for a while. You can see my complete modlist in my profile, but down and dirty I run a bullseye to4b v trim, 272s with 680cc inj a crappy custom fmic setup tuned by afc2 on a chipped ecu. I put down 311whp with that setup on a very much not aggressive tune.
I've got alot of expendable income (thank you tax free combat pay) so Im getting rid of that ### bullseye and going to an fp3052. I have a head being assembled and installed with all the goodies and a new fmic in the plans for august.
My question for you is, Can I pull 400 whp out of this setup tuning with an afc2 on 93 pump gas? I know aem or dsmlink would be far easier, but I like the simplicity of my afc, and its all nicely installed under my cd player with custom fabbed moldings
Am I being stubborn and old school by not wanting to scrap the afc or is it still acceptable to get 400 on a dyno tune? Thanks for your help and input.
