400whp with afc2

Gentlemen,

I've been in and out of the states for the last 5 years (in the military) so my DSM project has gotten an upgrade here and there over a long period of time, but not driven very much. As of this August, I will be back in the states for at least a year before coming back to Afghanistan and decided to take the time to push my car a little further and enjoy it for a while. You can see my complete modlist in my profile, but down and dirty I run a bullseye to4b v trim, 272s with 680cc inj a crappy custom fmic setup tuned by afc2 on a chipped ecu. I put down 311whp with that setup on a very much not aggressive tune.

I've got alot of expendable income (thank you tax free combat pay) so Im getting rid of that ### bullseye and going to an fp3052. I have a head being assembled and installed with all the goodies and a new fmic in the plans for august.

My question for you is, Can I pull 400 whp out of this setup tuning with an afc2 on 93 pump gas? I know aem or dsmlink would be far easier, but I like the simplicity of my afc, and its all nicely installed under my cd player with custom fabbed moldings Am I being stubborn and old school by not wanting to scrap the afc or is it still acceptable to get 400 on a dyno tune? Thanks for your help and input.

if you want to make 400hp with an AFC2 i would seriously recomend getting a water/meth injection kit and even maybe a gm maf sensor with a maf translator to replace your 2g maf and then fine tune with your afc2. nothing wrong with the 2g maf to make 400hp but with a gm maf and translator you can also tune with it and use your afc2 to fine tune.

Since your in Iowa get some 1000cc injectors for the FP3052 and tune it on E85. You will make 400whp easily.

I still call Iowa home, but the Army has moved me to North Carolina. Yay for 93 octane at least, but no go on the e85 probably. Already got to reading Ludachris's post on jackal... sounds like fun
