I recently installed my 18G (fully ported, clipped 15 deg.) I was doing some tuning today, I'm running 510 injectors right now ("yellow top")... I have an EXTREMELY hacked MAS (the whole entire lower section is GONE). My AFC is at +50% from 5000 RPM on.. I'm still running a bit lean from 5K-7K at 17lbs (0-7 knock).. I have a Walbro 255HP but no AFPR so I can't bump up fuel pressure a bit.

I've read numerous times about how certain people have ran a 20G with only 550s if its "properly tuned"? Am I missing something here? I'm only at 17lbs of boost and they're completely maxed out? I'm upgrading to 660s soon but just wanted to know for my peace of mind. Thanks a lot, Erick.

my car ran a 20g on 550cc injectors at 18psi.. 330hp to the wheels on the dyno. I have motec ecu and had hks cams.

I was datalogging and my reason for asking was b/c even at +50% on the AFC it was running lean (02s) getting knock therefore timing was being pulled at anything over 17lbs. I just wanted to know for my peace of mind if I'm doing anything wrong. Thanks, Erick.

you could be getting wrong readings on the MAF, and why the mixture is running lean. this is my guess...

I use a MAP sensor. You should probably invest in a aftermarket ecu, like the AEM EMS, or a MOTEC if you have the development time.
