Knock. maybe injectors leaking?

Hey guys, I know ive been over this a million times, but I thought about this yesterday, Like I said my car knocks under boost sometimes, its hit or miss, well I notice that when i gas hard and it knocks, I run real rich or something, I get black smoke out of my exhaust(straight pipe) and right now after i let off because of knock i get fuel smell all over the cabin. Its so bad all my passengers and I get headaches. When I put the evo injectors in, I used new o-rings and seals in the head. The seals in the head werent snug though, is that normal? They kind of just sit in there. I was wondering if this would cause knock, if they were leaking? Thanks

also in my previous post, I have a vacuum problem at idle, it idles funny and its 12-15 in hg at 800-1000 rpms.....sounds like i have cams too. Also No knock in DD. only in boost.

BLT of course, but you might want to check your timing with vacuum that low.

timing is on point, i had redid timing three times, same vacuum, and BLT was already done, i am stumped. and Under boost, its smells so much it fills the whole cabin with fumes.

Question, When you put new insulators in the head, are they supposed to be loose? if not, what insulators am i supposed to be using with Evo injectors in our motors?

replace injectors seals .

I did, still same problems. am i supposed to use the 1g seals and all, or the Evo ones?
