im thinking of all the electronics ill need... how does this sound?

Blitz Boost controler
Blitz Power Meter
Apex SAFCII
Apex Turbotimer
DSM link EDIT: POCKET LOGGER

And also a slew of inexpensive autometers
that should cover it right

SAFC and DSMlink, I dont know but DSM link is better (my opinion and I am writing) but why both, and your waisting your money, unless you want the ricey bling bling of space being occupied by nonsense. Stick with the DSMlink, for the boost controller If you want something nice and that takes up space but a moron can operate get the Greddy Pro B. and The power meter waste of space again, but gives you a rice look if that is what you want go for it, but removing the carpet might help you lose the weight you added in bling bling, and its free to pull it out. There for you can buy your electronics.

And the comment about the slew of inexpensive Autometer Gauges. Why waste money on alot of cheap gauges when you can get descent gauges for a little more and save money buying the ones you need? Boost is a must, Fuel pressure or oil pressure is nice but not required (yet), EGT well if you asked for DSMlink and SAFC, you might want to read what a EGT is. and from there you will probally understand autometer is worthless (for the most part) on EGT gauges. I recommend Greddy.

Why not go to the dsmtuners home page or roadraceengineering.com and follow the upgrade paths (many more are available), that way you can add speed not weight to you vehicle and run over stangs and if your lucky vettes just not hon-duhs. My $.02. Sorry if I offended you.

Everyone starts somewhere, do your self a favor and search about DSMs. You found this forum, and they give alot of hints, just read, read, FIX, upgrade, fix again, walk on a V8:thumb:, smile, then go home and fix the boost leak.

wow... yeah buddy I'M a little offended, first off, i made a typo...

what i meant by dsmlink was pocket logger, i guess the link made me think of it... YEAH
So i meant pocket logger.

also your use of the word rice has no place... i mean i suppose getting electronics is rice if they don't support other mods, but the power meter hooks to the boost controller and can do graphs and stuff...

Also I know what a fvcking egt gauge is... i don't know when you decided to post on this forum but acting all arrogant is gonna get you no where. One can get a gauge for all parameters for less then the cost of 3 greddy gauges...

And indeed i have read the tuners guide, back in may... when i joined, and it also seems that you have the same mods as me, so i don't see how you get off telling me whats what, and going on about how you recommend a gauge that you don't even have. if you do then update your mod list,
if i had the money i sure would get all greddy or apexi gauges but that is not the case.

you better be careful when writing a response, cause most people hear like to help people and not try to act all superior

i dont see whats a waste... i have a whole plan if you would like to see it, and at the time i woudl be buying some of those, there woudl be nothing else to buy

I have all the same things you have except I have and regular afc and a greddy turbo timer.

I use all autometer gauges, they work fine. I got my whole set up for less (well almost) then one of the more expensive ones. But I will agree the higher end gauges sure do look better.

The only bad thing about the autometer EGT gauge is the probe. If you get the right probe you won't have any trouble with the autometer.

word, plus its cost efective to get water, oil, temp and various pressure cause the autometers arnt expensive... i wouldnet buy gauges for that if they cost 230 a shot like the best ones

Im glad the new afc has knock meter, but hks has a new fance knock amp... but no feul control... ill stick to the apexi

Well like I said sorry to offend. My applogies. As for me purchasing the Greddy gauges, I owned the Auto meter, the boost gauge was mechanical and developed a leak internally that started to blow air out the bezel. about the only thing good it did was keep the pillar clean blowing the air onto it. I also lucked out and got all me greddy gauges pretty cheap.
But mainly writing back to appologize. But had to ask a question since as you put it, were here to help. How are you going to monitor knock with the SAFCII I was reading this post: http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=27698
and they said that it can not work. Just curious if you found a way around that. I heard about a hardwire but I dont know if I trust a experimental idea on something that has a sole purpose of trying to protect your engine.

i really dont know, i just read that the safc II had a knock sensor, its ok now... yeah as i said i would want nothing more then full apexi gueges or something.. you know
