Where to set Base Fuel Psi?

I have a chargedair AFPR and I am wondering what is a good setting for my base fuel psi? I have seen a few different settings and I want to know why they are different? I was going to set it at 43 psi. Thanks. BTW, the reason I need to set it is because I have a 255 pump and it is overruning the stock FPR.

good question..i was going to get the 255 and the charged to. I was wondering how you know what pressure to set it at. Anyone?

I have mine at 43psi. That's what the injectors are rated at.

I believe its 43 psi with the vacuum line disconnectd from the AFPR. Then once you reconnect it goes down to 30 something and will then rise with boost.

since you have not posted what year your car is i will have to say.

1g= 37-38

2g=43-44

Thanks, mine is a 2G by the way. Do I set it with the vacuum line connected or disconnected? I have seen many arguments about this and I am wondering if anyone has the right answer and can support it. Thanks JDMAWD for the info

Definitely pull the vac line off when you set the base line FP. then reconnect it once you get the baseline to the desired level

If you set your fuel pressure to 43psi on a 1G will this squeeze a little more fuel through your injectors? Will there be any ill side affects in doing this?
