I own a 98 gsx with the six bolt block sitting in it. I still have the 98 head on it since a lot of head work has been performed. All my mods include... 92 short block with 95 pistons and rods, bored 20 over, balanced crank, with balance shaft removed arp head studs, arp rod bolts, 98 head with a lot of work, Forced performance small 16g ported and polished with 34mm internal gate, ported exhaust manifold with 3" downpipe, no cat, hks dragger muffler, warlbro 190 intank fuel pump, stock injectors, apexi S-afc for tunning, hks fuel cut defencer, turbo xs recycle valve, injen intake, turbo xs high performance boost controller set at 19 psi, (since it is cold out), stock sidemount intercooler.
I have been doing some tuning on a data logger over the winter trying to get the bugs out of the car for next season at the dragstrip. Right now everything is running stout except for the fact that the car is only making 8 degrees of timing advance at full throttle. I have got some pretty unuseful information on other boards regarding this issue and was thinking maybe somebody else has had this problem, or might even know the answer to this problem. Is it time for bigger injectors, and a front mount, or even a dsm link??? I have had this problem for about 3 months now and I have found no fix, so please no BS answers, just actuall knowledge and useful information. Thanks!!!
