Base Timming on 1997 up 2g with 1g swap

does anyone know how to set base timming with this setup up? I heard you have to jump two of the under dash diagnostic connectors to put the car in a timming set mode???

its done the exact same way you set timing for a 1g engine. I believe you ahve to jump the #10 connetor...

I Cant remember if the 96+ have this or not, but on the 95 you simply ground the brown plug on the firewall by the battery. I seem to remember hearing this is only on the 95 cars though... Might be worth taking a look though.
