Hello, my car is a 92 with dsmlink v2.5, agp turbo, 660 denso's, and 272 cams.

My delima is that I can not tell if my ecu, my dsmlink chip, or something else is bad; I have my buddies eprom ecu with a tmo chip (stock 450 inj, fuel cut, plus some other stuff) that I am using as well as mine.

When I put the dsmlink chip into either computer i get a tps cel, idle ends up rising to 2k rpms, never comes back down.

When i use the tmo chip in either ecu i get no cel and i get fluctuating idle (between 1200-1700), although since I am using 660 injectors and the chip is for stock i was wondering if that was because of the extra fuel?

Probably so.

Your testing scenario suggests the problem is related to the memory module and/or chip. But I do not understand how the TPS CEL would be affected by the memory module. Maybe you have some unusual TPS adjustments active in your settings? Got a log showing the high idle and TPS CEL? You can use the newer V3 application off our website to capture a log that would include all active CELs as well.

Or you can just contact us offline and we'll gladly take a look at the ECU and memory module/chip and correct whatever we find wrong.
