i was reading around about a problem accessing functions in dsmlink and couldn't find anything that was like this: for instance i cannot access the knock,dash and a few other options does anyone know why?

I've always been under the assumption it was v1 but i'm not 100% positive.

The features you can't access were not part of V1.

ah ok that makes sense. i had read about the different features in several different places and must have misread or misunderstood. i thought for some reason that the changes were between gen 1 and 2 i guess there actually differences between v1 and 2. thanks for the help Hal.. i guess it's time to upgrade to ecmlink then.
