I've searched and searched and I've never heard of anyone running a NT ecu in a turbo vehicle. While my turbo eprom unit is out being socketed I decided to try it. I found a 93 2.0 NT in a junkyard and snagged the ECU for $25. Using these two

the only wires that need to be swapped are 6 and 14. After doing that it ran ok, but was very rich. In a perfect world I would have used an AFC to tune that out, but I don't have the money for that and this is a very temporary fix (the car might see 5 miles of driving before I get the other ECU back). So I pulled the recirculation hose off to allow air in behind the MAS. All things considered, the car runs really good now. It is a little lean sometimes, and of course I have the venting issue, but I've been staying out of boost as much as possible.
With eprom and even nonturbo eprom ECUs running $100-$XXX In my eyes the next step would be to find one with an e prom and see if running the turbo code is possible. Anyone tried this?
