I have the Crane Fireball ignition. The tach adapter recommended by Crane (8910 or 8920) is $70 and out of stock for months. Would the MSD 8910 work?

I know there are other threads about this but none have been answered and they are from 2-3 years ago.

You should be able to use any tach adapter, Just get your signal from the CAS/CPS depending on what generation motor(basically whatever one you have). I have had teh MSD one on my cars for years running off the crank position signal of the CAS and i let it drive the tach signal spiced in right at the ECU plug. I did this to save an output of the Haltech E6k EMS just so you know why i needed one without an MSD box.
