Bad 02, Drivable?

I switch o2 housing the other day and with that, I put in another 02 sensor. I'm getting extremely low voltages (.02-.04). All the fuel trims are skyrocketing up as a symptom. I concluded that the sensor was bad.

If I'm not boosting and beating on the car, is it ok to drive it short distances? Just for maybe a day until I have time to switch the sensors back? Or can I really cause damage? It should just be running really rich is my thinking.

You'll just have to fill up with gas quicker.

No, it should be alright for a little bit, like you said it should just run really rich while cruising/idling. Not ideal, but drivable.

No kiddin. Check out oxygensensors.com they have great prices($50). I'm running a Denso from them, good as OEM.

Thanks man. I have the O2 sensor from before still. As far as I knew, it was working fine. You don't think it's worth replacing until it has similar symptoms as this one, do you? I don't see why I would do that.
