For those of you who know how to tune AVCR and SAFC?

Hey guys, I just bought a 1997 gsx with a apex'i safc and a avcr installed. When the previous owner had it before me he said it did 380awhp. But yea let me tell you my problem first. So, I cant go past 4500k rpm. Like it gets fuel cut or something. And when I drive it and floor it, it feels like its going no where. But the rpms do clime. Until it reaches 4500k and it feels like it red lining. So the things that I KNOW thats on the car is RC450cc injectors. 16g turbo. open wastegate. garrett bov with a with recirc block off.(surprise I didnt throw a cel) 255lph walbro fuel pump. So I need help tuning it. Tried looking at the manual and its pretty confusing. From going from a 420a to a gsx is pretty crazy. But if anyone can help that would be awesome. I want to set it up where I have at least 12 psi daily.

I've never used the AVCR, so I'm not even going to comment on that one.

The previous owner was lying out is ass when he told you it made 380WHP on 450cc injectors. Those injectors, at an IDC of 100%, can only support about 32lbs/min. There is no way that you're ever going to make 380WHP at 32lbs/min.

What boost are you running now? If you're getting fuel cut, either your SAFC settings are all screwed up and you're overinflating the airflow, you have a boost leak or you're running too much boost.

Can you post up your Ne Points and corresponding Hi Throttle table correction factors. Also, what sensor type to you have it set on? What direction is the arrow pointing? Do you have a logger?

LOL woops sorry wrong injectors...my mind is still in my 420a state.....it has rc660 injectors...forgot that 450cc were stock for the 4g63....the arrow is pointing NE....gotta look at the other ones
 
First thing to do. Is update that profile :thumb:

Do the full routine of maintenance stuff..
Then recirculate that BOV! and buy 3 things a FPR, Wideband and some form of Logger.
Get all of the silly stuff takin care of before you start pushing the tune..

Basicly get the other guys stink ROFL (messups) off the car.
