This thread is intended for the compilation of part numbers for sensors, ISC's and other electronics that are used in typical stand alone arrangements. Since most of the time the manufacturers don't provide info on what vehicle application their sensors came from, so they can sell them to you under their name and make more money. I hope that we can come up with a complete list of aplications to get our needed sensors from.
This morning while changing my injectors i noticed that my IAT went out on my haltech, and since i had to go through the PITA to find the right sensor without an application to look up; i figured i'd post what the application and year is for the most common IAT, CTS, MAP sensor and others used by AEM, Haltech, Autronic, ACCELL DFI (gen V and VII) and most other ECU's that utilize GM sensors
The cheapest one and most reliable type of IAT sensor was found to be OEM for a 1991 S-10 pickup with a 2.5 liter V6 in it.
I hope this helps some one get a replacement sensor without sitting in the parts store guessing at aplications and trying to match up IAT and other sensors for a half hour to 40 mites like i always end up doing..
I will continue to post the rest as i find them again(and anyone else should feel fre to add info from experience..NOT " I heard such and such sensor works " ). I have to get new ones so rarely that i always forget what application to look up myself so this will serve at least as a reminder to me
The Coolant temp sensor works from the same application, but the 3 bar MAP sensor is one I have forgotten what one it is ( i think it's the 87 or 88 turbo T/A and one certain year of the GN that came with a 3 bar map sensor, the rest ewre 2 bar)
If anyone else has number for stand alone sensors please post them up
