won't rev pass 2k rpm

i just installed the single knob afc and the car won't rev pass 2k rpms
anyone have the manual for this thing. i used the manual from my other newer afc. The old single afc only has four wires red for power lack for ground and yellow and with for air flow meter. ( tell me if i am wrong) also on the back of the single knob afc it has 16 diffrent car settings 0 to 9 and a to f which one is the right one?

the new AFC and old AFC use different wiring methods...

for a 2G per the VFAQ

in a nutshell they use different wires for the airflow signal. the SAFC uses the pink and orange wires, the AFC uses the white and yellow wires.
