T28@17# of boost in the cold and no fuel cut-What's wrong?

Hello everyone!

I have a 2G AWD 5speed w/ an FPT28/28 ported turbo, ported o2 housing, 3" turboback exhaust, Supra sidemount, greddy BOV, Walbro 255 and MBC set @17# of boost and I'm not getting fuel cut and never have. I have not tampered w/ my MAF at all. All honeycombs are in and the set screw was not touched. I am getting 15-18 for timing @ 7000rpm at full throttle. Is it because of my FPR being stock, or are 2G's less prone to boost cut than 1G's?

I live in Wisconsin and the temp is around 10-30 degrees F so the air is nice and cool. Any responses will be appreciated.

Thankyou!-MIKE

I can run up to 19 on my 14b and a buddy of mine hits fc right at 18.5 on his Big16G. turn your boost up to hit fc.

Is it okay to turn up the boost anymore w/o upgrading injctors first? I use 93 octane. According to RRE's site, I'm right at the edge of my stock injectors. Is this correct, or am I misinformed?

Thanks-MIKE

Just watch your timing. You have a 95 and they are really agressive with timing (both advancing and retarding). If you start running out of fuel, you'll knock and timing will drop off severly.

If you just wanted to check and see what fuel cut feels like, put some 100+ octane in the tank and crank the boost up. You won't like it, trust me. You'll be looking in the rearview mirror for your engine/tranny and trying restart your heart. The first time is quite a surprise.
