Will an ECU out of a 95 automatic be usable for my 97 5 speed? I already have the chip, but I am still lookin for an ECU and my buddy has an auto one so I am checking before I go and pick it up.

As long as it's an EPROM, yes.

It's fine. Doesn't matter if it is AWD or FWD, Auto or Stick.

Auto's have another little controller for the transmission. I forgot what it is called. Perhaps someone can chime in on the name of it.
