Has anyone ever spliced the translator straight into the engine harness. I got a translator but the guy that had it, was running it directly into the ecu. So I didnt have any plugs. I got a gm maf plug and I know which wires go to that. I now need to get a plug or know which wires i need to connect to go straight into the harness. I have looked everywhere for the plug that fits into the stock 1g maf connecter, I cant find one. So I am thinking of just cutting the 1g maf plug off and wiring it directly to the translator. I just dont know which wires from the harness would match with the wires from the translator.

The 1g maf wire colors are:
green/red
red
green
green/white
green/orange
green/yellow
green/black

The translator wires are:
purple
brown
green
black
pink
white,( which is the rpm wire, I beleive)
and grey

So there is obviously two wires not used. Which ones go with what

Thanks,
Anthony
