There is like a snapring circlip holding on the compressor hosuing. That is the ONLY thing holding it on. If it is not in the locating hole the clip could be off and thats why you are leaking so bad. here is a link to the turbo on vfaq:

good luck dude.

Sounds like you just need to replace the compressor housing O-ring.

UPDATE: Hey guys tonight i redid the clip that holds the compressor housing on and its still leaking pretty bad!! Would it be the Compressor houseing O-ring??

ALSO, i noticed air was leaking out through the oil feed and return holes on the turbo??!!! Is this bad?? Does this mean the turbo is shot??

Ok check out this thread:
50 trim owners: check your compressor housing!!

This thread is about the PTE 50 trim 5031RE turbo and how it leaks from the compressor housing as well. If you go to page 2 it will show exactly where the O-ring sits and then you can make comparisons to your turbo. Also, I looked at your profile and I do understand you have the T3/T4 50 trim, so you could definetly compare the two. Moreover, this thread also gives you ideas on how to maybe fix it but in my opinion, its best to buy the O-ring because boost leaks are just a pain in the butt.

I could have wrote everything for you but it is much easier to refer to that thread made by blcknspooln.

Good Luck, Cheers

How did the o-ring look? Any flat spots? Also make sure it is seating properly in the groove when you put the turbo back together. Aslo make sure the snap ring is installed with the correct side up. The beveled side faces the turbine housing. I don't know if installing it the other way could cause this problem but just one other thing to check.

As far as air leaking into the oil passage, that does not necessarily indicate a problem. It is normal for some air to leak past during a static pressure test since there is no oil pressure to help seal the oil seals. Have you checked for shaft play, particularly in/out shaft play? Unless air is rushing out into the oil passages I wouldn't be too concerned with that at this point.
