I recently got my DSMlink in and up and running
but i have a strange intermittent problem...
sometimes the ecu works... sometimes it doesn't
if i pull the wiring harness out and straight and connect the ecu.. it works
depending on the way it twists or turns.. or moves a little... it dies and goes off.. and i get the crazy clicking under the dashboard...
sometimes it dies "halfway" the car runs.. but i get CEL's..
sometimes its MDP, sometimes Front and rear o2 and others..
when i put the stock ecu back.. none of these problems happen.. no matter which way i pull or tug the wiring..
it's only with the DSMlink'ed ecu does this occur
a couple times, i've died in traffic or on the highway... it's not fun (or safe)...
and all tuning is lost.. ecu reverts back to stock..
sometimes i just give the ecu a good wack and it comes back on... sometimes i just push the harness.. it comes back on... i *think* it's 4th the harness at the very top (when ecu is bolted in place) but when i inspect it.. it looks fine...
i've had to go back to the stock ecu at the moment..
the ecu itself has just recently come back from steve.. so I doubt the socketing is the issue...
