water/alky spray distribution

I just took my OEM 1G int. manifold off to install a cyclone int.. To my surprise #4 intake port [in the head] was totally clean while #'s 1,2 & 3 were coated with a little oily carbon. My water/alky is injected in the TB elbow. I thought this mix would be distributed evenly to each cylinder, but now I wonder if most is going into #4, hence cleaning that port better. I have also noticed a more knock count than expected, which I think is more a reflection of what is happening in #1 & 2 cylinders. The .4mm nozzle sprays a nice mist at 15# and up. The leakdown on 15K is about 2%
Any thoughts on this?

I have the same system with the spray nozzle before the thottle body and I have also tried it right after the turbo. The knock did not change much either way, but the boost climbs faster as soon as the water/alcohol is activated.

Many aftermarket intake plenums often taper down when going from left to right (to the #1 runner). I 'havn't noticed anything w/ my setup at the throttle body. But it is possible, i suppose. What is your nozzle size and what is your peak airflow &/or hp?
