My stock turbo Talon has 124K mi. with factory boost, is it safe to use 89 or stick with 91 octane?:confused. thanks;)

i would stick to the highest octane because the manual suggests using super octane especially if you are gonna race. plus the fact that you car is a turboi would suggest using the highest octane.

You can use any type of fuel you like, but the ECU will pull timing and lower the boost when it see the sorry fuel you put in it. If you really want to run a lower octane disconnect the wastegate so you don't build any boost then you can us 87.
