You really do not need an AFC until you get larger injectors. Once you have all the pre-new-turbo mods (exhaust, intake, etc), you can get an AFC to fine tune, but even then, you will not get that much out of it. Injector upgrade or just before (so you have it in already) is the best time to get the AFC.

That's correct. Good luck getting one though. Rumors are Apex'i is coming out with a new model every vendor is backordered indefinitley on them.

Any news on any new features of the new AFC. I hope you will be able to store multiple maps for different boost levels and gas types. that would be awesome.
 
I spoke with APEXi this morning and the current model SAFC is not being discontinued.

They are having problems with their the shipping of and the supply coming in from Japan that gets sent to US distributors. They expected a batch to be available by the first of next month.
 
alrigh tall, i know im gona sound like a newb but..

the apex s-afc, is there only one kind, or does it have to be specific to the eclipse. i have not done any research on it yet. and whats the diff between the other blue-face models?
