Does anyone know where I can get a cable and datalogging software for my '90 GST. I have an IBM Thinkpad T21 w/ Win 2000 Pro. I was told that I could get freeware from TMO, but their site doesn't have any links and I don't know where else to look.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

I downloaded the software. Both the

mmcd-1.5d-src.zip 66401 2996 Other Source .zip
mmcd-1.5d.zip 32574 4146 Other .prc (PalmOS)

and when I unzip them, it is just a bunch of notepad stuff. There is nothing there to install the programs with.

Am I missing something? Thanks for all the help!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah... a Palm Pilot. :p

Sorry, I forgot to mention MMCd is for PDAs. I sent you a PM about this already, but you need a PalmOS emulator to run MMCd on your laptop.

Here's where you can get the emulator:

Use the PalmOS version of MMCd, the other is the open source code (for the programming-type to modify at will).

this free software will work with a palm m100 then to correct? do i just plug the palm into the pc and transfer the files?

Why not Technomotive? I use it when logging on my laptop, and love it. I believe it is opensource now, as well.

do you have a link for this? Does it run in a regular fullscreen window instead of an emulator.

I'm also looking for a Windows based datalogger for a 1g. and my laptop doesnt have a serial so I need one that can run off the usb port and an adapter. I can make whatever cable i need if I have a schematic

It's not opensource. Rumor is that Todd doesn't sell it anymore and doesn't mind if people share it.

Steve

Oops, thanks for clearing that up Steve :)

I broke my palm so I put the palm(emulator)on my laptop and it actually works, it is kind of wierd, but works. Not hard to do...If you have a cable and laptop with no palm that will work, My newer Tungsten E2 would not even link up...
