While looking for nice digital temperature monitors, I came across a very cool temperature "process controller" on ebay. I couldn't control my impulses and I bought it. It displays temperature but also has two programable outputs. An obvious use for one of them is to activate an audible alarm when EGT reaches a dangerously high level. I'm thinking about using the 2nd output to actively control the situation. Any suggestions what to control? Cut the ignition? Shut down the fuel pump?

imo, you wouldnt want to cut ignition, cuz that would cut the oil pump and water pump too. fuel pump seems like a good idea though. i dont know much, but i think taht would be pretty safe?
