hey guys. i had my car dyno tuned with a wideband with 550s. i now installed a blow thru gm setup and 680's. i knew just adding the gm maf would screw up my old safc settings and i would have to tune it myself so i decided to jump up to 680's and start over. i have the maf translator set to 650s (i read injectors ending with 80 flow a bit less), got it to idle perfect and the ftrl to stay between 92 and 101. my problem is that it seems most people with similar setups are in the negatives above 4k. i figured i could start with my old hi settings and go from there... what do you guys think. first of all, i have a b16g, 255 w/ rewire. afpr, 680s, fmic, gm maft and trans, etc. and im running 19psi
these were my settings after the tune with 550's
1k 2k 3k 4k 4.5k 5k 6k 7k
hi -24 -20 -6 -5 +20 +28 +26 +30
lo -19 -10 -18 -17-22 -24 -19 -19
thr pts. 30 75
i am assuming i don't need to have any lo thr settings on the safc, just hi settings. is that right? can i use these as a starting point.
next... how is it that other people are well into the negatives (most were 2g, but that shouldn't matter), i know the safc fools the stock ecu but i must be missing something important. sorry for the long post.
