the 255 hp pumps fuel at a higher pressure than the regular 255. pretty easy huh?

THE VOLUME DROPS OFF LESS AT HIGHER PRESSURE. WHEN YOU BUILD BOOST THE AFPR MAKES THE FUEL PRESSURE GO UP AND THE VOLUME THE PUMP FLOWS GOES DOWN. THIS IS BAD. GET THE HIGH PRESSURE ONE. DUH.

Jesus people...

now would i have to get a AFPR? or can i just use the stock one until i do more air/fuel tuning? by the way ###'s a good boost level? with the fuel pump rewire and fuel pump upgrade? stay at 15lbs or up it up to 17 +?
there any disadvantages at low gears?

you will need an AFPR. It is not a must but it will make it easier to tune. Also just because you have a bigger fuel pump doesnt mean the injectors are large enough to handle the boost. Keep it at 15 psi.

I was running the 255HP with stock injectors and had no problems (14b on 16psi). After I installed the 660's the stock fpr just could not handle it (50 trim). I installed an AFPR this weekend and my car is loving life.
