dejon intake 1g to 2g maf intake. any good

I'm a bit confused with the whole 2g maf ina 1g car. they sell alot of intakes, their intakes are a hard pipe that conects to the compressor outlet correct? I will be running an safc so I would get the one with the 2g coversion thingy. after that what else is needed? how much is the 2g maf? do I have to solder stuff and mix wires around or do I just put the 2g maf in? please help me with any advise. I understand this may apear to be a stupid question to some of you, so please give me usefull info.

VFAQ is a wonderful thing. There is a VFAQ which explains your installation questions.

The compressor pipe attatches just like the inlet would, directly to the compressor inlet.

You can see pics of this setup on my car at: http://www.dsmgarage.com/users/bhorst

The VFAQ: http://vfaq.com/mods/2GMAF-1G.html has all the info you will need. Following these steps it is very simple. Make sure you have an S-AFC and larger then stock injectors.
